Whatnot is a commerce app aimed towards the comic book niche. The app is about 2 years old and caters towards people who like to buy and sell comic books, trading cards, collectible figurines, clothing, and sneakers. I drew inspiration from whatnot's color palette and branding after looking through their Facebook and instagram to create eye catching graphics and call to action newsletters/social media graphics in order to drive traffic and revenue to Frankies Comics.
The objective of this campaign was to drive traffic to our new whatnot page on the app to show we were selling mostly comics. I photographed our employees hosting their streaming events and added their photos into my graphics for the Frankies Comics website banner/newsletter/social media graphics. Our employee Ashley did not want her photo taken, so we compromised and used a copyright free pug photo as her campaign graphic (It also goes with Frankies logo theme).
The instagram post slides using my graphics and photos. Final slide is the post on instagram resulting in over 160 likes and over 20 comments on this post.
